organizations like the Georgia Lawyers for the Arts who have presented “Copyright
Basics for artists.” We have also held seminars with the Georgia Council for the Arts
and the Terry College of Business. AthFest Artist MarketAn annual music and art event in which AAAC organizes
the artist market, demonstrations, children’s activities, and exhibitions in surrounding venues. Umbrella SponsorshipArtists whose projects meet our mission statement may
apply for grants through us using our non-profit status. Celebrate the ArtsAn annual meeting held in a local business that supports
the arts. During this event we showcase local artists, musicians, and dancers for the enjoyment of all. "You Me and the Bus"You, Me and the Bus is the first public/private partnership between Athens Area Arts Council, The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government, The Athens Transit System and the citizens of Athens. This unique competition sought artistically designed bus shelter designs that will be functional pieces of public art. |
